Small Watches are constructed in an extremely complex way using jewelry accessories such as: the bracelet and the steel chain with Swarovski crystals.
Small Watches represent an important innovation amongst watch makers: this change can be seen in its use as a pocket watch; from a male symbol which has been transformed in a very fashionable way to become a female accessory.
The hand painted cover portrays three typical symbols of life:
The Sun, Moon and Water.
The Sun:
The sun is at the center of the source of Life representing the male origin of the pocket watch.
The Moon: The moon is worshipped as evening light: divinity, considered in mythology as a female entity.
Water:Water was considered as the beginning of fertility in pre-historic times and represents the evolution of an object always envisaged as a male symbol which today has become more feminine.
